Transfers: Cheikh N’Doye attracting interest

Blues midfielder Cheikh N’Doye could be departing in this transfer window after just six months at the club.

French newspaper L’Equipe ate reporting the Senegalese midfielder is attracting interest from Ligue 1 side Strasbourg. It also reads Angers are also keen to take him back to his home country.

The midfielder has made 25 appearances for Blues, 20 of those being starts. He featured in Saturday’s stalemate at Preston and Blues boss Steve Cotterill had nothing to say but praise for him:

“I thought Cheikh Ndoye today in there was tremendous so we didn’t actually miss Craig (Gardner) today but it will be good to have him back.”

The Senegal international will be hoping to play regularly coming up to the world cup. However, starting before Gardner at the moment is an uncertainty.

What do you think, would you mind seeing N’Doye exiting in this window?

  1. He’s rubbish, won’t miss him at all but we’re light in midfield and desperately need a guy in there who can put his foot on the bal, create space and pick a pass!
