Predicted lineup: Blues V Fulham

Blues travel to Craven Cottage tomorrow to face a newly formed Fulham.

The Londoner’s have spent well during the the transfer window and with well known striker Matt Smith in their ranks they look dangerous, he seems to always do the business against us!

Anyway enough about them, Blues also have a new face at their disposal. Maybe not as prolific in the goal scoring department, but Lukas Jutkiewicz will be looking to get some much needed minutes under his belt.

Whether or not Rowett takes the risk and starts him remains to be seen, but the back up is there if needs be. Clayton Donaldson won’t be likely to miss this one, after scoring 2 goals against promotion hopefuls the other week, which the Jamaican will want to improve on.

New signing Rhoys Wiggins won’t feature this weekend, but he will be available for the Reading game on Tuesday.

All that being said I think Blues will set up like this:

Spector, Shotton, Morro, Grounds
Gleeson, Kieftenbeld, Davis
Adams, Donaldson, Maghoma

I think Rowett won’t want his team to sit back for this one after the 5-2 drubbing in the corresponding fixture of last season. Yes Fulham have spent well, but Blues also look reformed up front with Che Adams becoming the danger man.

It would be good to see more of Greg Stewart and see what he can bring to the wings, however with Che Adams and Magoma on the flanks, they can cause the defence some real problems tomorrow afternoon. Let’s hope they can provide Donaldson with the service!

Also, I think having Davis in an advanced role has proved to be valuable so far this season, so I hope he starts tomorrow as Fabbrini doesn’t have that match form as of yet.

Safe journey to everyone travelling down south tomorrow, make sure you send us your #bcfcawaydays photos and videos.

  1. I don’t think we can drop Tesche he played really well against Norwich and should have capped a good performance with a goal he worked well with Kieftenbeld so for me them pair must start,Gleeson on the bench ,and with Rowett not known for ringing the changes i think we’ll be unchanged as long as Donaldson and Maghoma are not suffering jetlag

  2. totally agree Gaz can not drop Tesche and yes he did score the ball was a foot over the line. I still think we must find a place for fabbrini especially at home. KRO
