A bid for David Stockdale from Leeds United has been turned down from Blues.
The stopper remains a key target this summer despite the Yorkshire club falling behind Blues’ valuation.
News emerged last month that Garry Monk would be willing for Stockdale to depart the club as he is a high earner at the club.
It remains to be seen if Leeds are to return with an improved offer for the former Brighton keeper who has two years left on his contract at St Andrew’s.
The Yorkshire Post have also reported personal terms are an issue (wages). Blues have yet to gather any substantial bids for a replacement and the expected first summer signing of Kristian Pedersen looks ever more distant.
