Latest: Nottingham Forest outbid Blues for Lewis Grabban

Following on from the news earlier that Blues had a bid of £5million accepted, it looks like Grabban is on his way to Forest as a £6million bid has now been agreed, according to BBC Nottingham.

The 30-year-old is attracting interest following his impressive stints at Sunderland and Aston Villa last season.

Garry Monk has described the transfer window as ‘insane’ as he looks to bolster his attacking lines but it looks like he’s been beaten by Forest boss Aitor Karanka this time round.

Despite this news, Blues fans will welcome the news of this sum being splashed out and also Monk being competitive in this transfer window.

The Blues boss will have to look elsewhere before his side jets off to Austria for their pre-season your.

What do you think Blues fans, is this a blow for Blues or do you think there is more talent elsewhere? Let us know in the comment section below.
