David Stockdale told ‘he can leave Birmingham’

Blues may be parting ways with David Stockdale this summer after he’s been told he can leave the club.

According to respected journalist Phil Hay, Stockdale could be sent his marching orders now the transfer window is open.

The shot stopper played a pivotal role in the Brighton’s promotion-winning Championship campaign in 2016/17.

It surprised many when he chose to join Blues rather than sign a new contract at the Amex.

Although many Blues fans will feel Monk should hold on to him, the 32-year-old did come under fire after multiple mistakes this season between the sticks.

A new goalkeeper at the top of Monk’s list then, who do you think Blues should make a move for?

  1. Does not say any thing on Blues website at the moment about Stocky??
apart from Lowe and Shinnie going?

Joe Hart,YES as long as he would take a pay cut ?????

Myhill ( WBA ) who we had on loan is out of contract this June. 35 year old??

Should give Kuszczak another go,like him a lot!.
Think they will try and get a third keeper to cover
Kuszczak and Trueman to keep wage bill down,
after all apart from Stocky,s mistakes he is on
    a very big wage..
