Current Women’s Super League top scorer Ellen White has been named in the PFA’s Women’s Super League team of the year, along with teammates Aoife Mannion and Ann-Katrin Berger.
White has scored 10 in 10 league games this season despite missing three months through injury.
The England international signed for Birmingham City back in January 2017 and is currently having her best scoring season of her career.
Meanwhile, Ann-Katrin Berger has also had a remarkable season having been diagnosed with thyroid cancer back in November.
Affectionately nicknamed ‘The Boss’ by her teammates she lived up to the name as returned to action in a 1-0 FA Cup win over Reading in February.
Berger is currently on a run of five consecutive clean sheets following the Blues’ 0-0 draw away at Yeovil last weekend.
Also included in the WSL1 team of the year was fan-favourite Aoife Mannion.
The 22-year-old Solihull-born player has represented England at every youth level and has been tipped for a senior cap in the near future.
She has been an ever-present this season under Marc Skinner, having played in all 19 games so far.
