With the transfer window now closed, it seems Harry isn’t done dealing yet…
Former baggies midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu says he would welcome a move to St Andrews for another chance of working under Harry Redknapp.
The 30-year-old is also a free agent after leaving Norwich at the end of last season. The DR Congo international played 211 times at the Hawthorns during 6 years in the West Midlands.
What adds as a bonus to this move would be he’s lined up with teammate Bassong before and also played along side Maghoma on the International stage. It would also bolster the midfield even further adding competition to Cheikh Ndoye, Jason Lowe and Liam Walsh.
Latest on Bassong
Blues are understood to be ready to sign free agent and former Norwich defender Sebastien Bassong.
The Cameroon defender has been training at Wast Hills for the past couple of weeks and it looks like he’s done enough to secure himself a move.
Redknapp is a big admirer of Bassong as they have previously worked together at Spurs. What makes him an attractive acquisition is his knowledge of this league and his ability to play on the left side of the defence.
The 31-year-old will become Redknapp’s 15th signing of the Summer.
