It looks like Fabbrini will be heading out the door as Real Oviedo have struck a deal with Blues for the Italian.

Fabbrini travelled with Blues to Austria for their pre-season, but it looks like he’ll be another departure, following Kerim Frei.

The Spanish club are willing to cover the fee for the attacking midfielder, according to reports in Spain. The press also state he arrived at Oviedo yesterday to complete personal terms.

Fabbrini joined Blues last January for £1.5 million and made 21 appearances before heading out on loan to Spezia.

Expect an official announcement soon…

UPDATE: BCFC – Fabbrini has joined Oviedo on a season long loan, his deal runs from 1 August 2017 through to 30 June 2018.
