Blues have made a loan enquiry for Chelsea youngster Jeremie Boga, according to Goal.
With three Premier League loanee’s signing yesterday, it looks like Redknapp isn’t stopping there in the loan window.
Boga was handed his Chelsea debut in the opening game of the new season against Burnley, but had to be sacrificed after Gary Cahill received his marching orders after 14 minutes.
It’s not the first time Redknapp has eyed a Chelsea starlet – Lewis Baker was amongst the transfer talk just last week, but he’s since joined Middlesbrough.
Boga, 20, will only leave if Chelsea sign some of their recent transfer targets.
The Ivory Coast international has had loan spells at Rennes and Granada, but only scored five goals abroad. Here are the highlights of his career so far:
In 2013, Boga showed his potential by netting twice in the Youth Cup final, which the Blues ultimately lost to Norwich.
But in 2015 he was able to help them to a dramatic victory over Fulham and lift the trophy.
The following season he went on loan to Rennes in France, playing 27 matches and scoring twice.
And he spent last term at Granada, where his highlight was netting a beautiful side-footed finish at home to Barcelona.
Take a look at him in the video below:
With the captures of Sam Gallagher and Isaac Vassell upfront, do you think Redknapp should make a move for this frontman, or do we have enough ammunition now?
