It’s been a busy start to the week for Blues on the transfer front.
New signing Isaac Vassell has arrived from Luton, and the signing of Onazi looks to be imminent.
Blues are also doing business at the other end. Here’s the latest:
Blues linked with Eder
Blues are understood to be lining up a move for the former Swansea man, according to the Birmingham Mail.
Eder, who was the hero for Portugal in the Euro’s last year against France, is currently at Lille.
The 29-year-old played for Swansea in 2015, but failed to score in his 13 appearances for the Welsh club.
However, the forward has impressed somewhat for the French club, scoring 6 goals in 31 appearances.
The French club want a fee of €6m, but it is understood Blues want a loan, with Brighton also interested.
Harry Redknapp is looking to add to his frontline and Eder could be a strong asset in the Championship.
Boro closing in on Shotton
Middlesbrough are thought to be closing in on the signing of defender Ryan Shotton.
Garry Monk has agreed to sign the 28-year-old for a fee of £2million.
The defender’s arrival at the Riverside is now set to be confirmed within the next 48 hours, according to the Northern Echo.
However, Harry Redknapp revealed he is closing in on a replacement before sanctioning Shotton’s departure.
He said: “He’s a good lad but Middlesbrough want him.
“He also fancies the move so if he goes it leaves us with only two defenders and we need four.
“We’ve agreed a fee and we’re just waiting until we get someone in now.”
Kuszczak attracting interest
Nottingham Forest have been linked with the Blues goalkeeper, according to the Nottingham Post.
The former Manchester United keeper has missed out at the start of the season to new signing David Stockdale.
TalkSport say that has captured the interest of Forest – and Premier League side Newcastle.
