Walsall have this afternoon released a club statement suggesting that media reports linking star-striker Tom Bradshaw with a move away from the Banks’ are “catagorically untrue”.
The striker has been linked with a move away from the club all January, with Blues one of the teams thought to be interested in a move.
However representatives at the League One side have scuppered any talk of a transfer, denying that a bid has been accepted.
In recent weeks, Championship strugglers Bristol City have been linked with a move for Bradshaw, but again, this has been denied.
“In light of recent media specualtion, the club wish to place on record that reports claiming a bid for Tom Bradshaw has been accepted are catagorically untrue.
The player remains an important part of Sean O’Driscoll’s squad and is key to our promotion push,” Walsall said this afternoon.
In essence, this ends any lingering rumours that he could be set to link up with Gary Rowett’s team this season.
With the transfer window drawing to a close, are you pleased with the business that has been completed?
