RUMOUR: Blues and Leeds linked with Troy Deeney

The bookies have today suspended odds on Troy Deeney joining Blues or Leeds.

They only do that when there is substantial truth to a possible move.

The 28-year-old has scored 100 goals for Watford since joining in 2010, but a move to his boyhood club could tempt him.

Leeds have also been linked from the bookies (Sky Bet).

It has been rumoured Deeney fell out with Watford boss Walter Mazzarri, which saw him dropped to the bench on Sunday in their 5-0 defeat.

For a promotion push to take shape next season, Redknapp needs goals and what better to have than a player that not only knows where the net is, but loves loves the club too?

A bid of £25million from Leicester was turned down last summer, so he won’t come cheap.
