Veteran defender has signed a new contract with Blues and will continue his coach-player role.
The club captain has agreed a new one-year deal that will see him help out with the Under 18s and Under 21s.
The announcement comes after a good season for the centre half, racking up 27 appearances. He developed his partnership with Michael Morrison by helping the team to 11 clean sheets, more than any other defensive partners.
Last season he scored his first ever league goal for Blues, and his first in 5 years. He then went on to score two more, the most notable one against Derby.
Robbo has made 146 appearances for Blues since signing in September 2012 and it looks like the 37-year-old won’t be looking back just yet.
Blues fans will welcome this news however Rowett will no doubt be looking for more defensive cover in the next few months.
Robbo took to his Instagram to write this message:
