Receivers Ernst and Young speak out after BIH statement

Ernst and Young, the receivers of the club, have spoke out after yesterday’s news of a £10million investment to keep the club going in the next 18 months.

This is their first public declaration since their appointment in February 2015. They have assured Birmingham fans that Trillion Trophy Asia’s takeover is the best possible step to help ‘boost’ the club off the field.

Keeping it short but sweet, this will be applauded by Blues fans as they now feel they can come out and speak.

They answered a few questions from the Birmingham Mail regarding yesterday’s statement:

“We will continue to devote our time and effort with a view to materializing the discussions mentioned in the announcement.

“As mentioned in the announcement, it is expected that upon completion of the restructuring, the Company [TTA] would be able to boost the performance of the Club.”

The EGM is expected to take place on July 22, with trading in shares allowed to continue from October 27.
