Kilmarnock have today appointed Lee Clark as their new manager.
The Geordie boss spent two and a bit season with the Blues before being sacked last October with Panos Pavlakis weary of finding the club embroiled in another desperate fight against relegation.
Killie have been without a manager since Gary Locke resigned last month with the club embroiled in a fight against relegation. That has not deterred 43 year old Clark who is hoping he can boost his reputation following difficult spells with Birmingham City and Blackpool.
His new club are in 10th position, one point ahead of the relegation play-off position. Still, Clark is aiming for a top six in a typically tight mid section of the Scottish Premier League.
No doubt the success of Derek McInnes, who was at Bristol City just before their relegation from the Championship, at Aberdeen has given Clark the confidence to step up north.
