Following the recent news of David Stockdale and Tomasz Kuszczak being told they can leave Blues this summer and both of them not flying out to the pre-season tour in Austria this week, Blues are looking at suitable goalkeeping options.

The latest man between the sticks linked with Blues is Ipswich Town’s Bartosz Bialkowski. According to BirminghamLive, the 31-year-old is being considered as a replacement for David Stockdale.

The Polish international has been given time off following their exit at the World Cup, after being targeted by Crystal Palace in the January transfer window.

It’s worth noting Town have been linked with Rangers Keeper Wes Foderingham, according to reports in Scotland. It may be a case of a domino effect with this move likely to push Bialkowski out of the door.

With one year left on his contract, the stopper is yet to sign a new contract at the club and owner Marcus Evans may listen to offers to prevent the highly rated keeper leaving on a free transfer next summer.
