Garry Monk reignites interest in former attacking midfield target

Garry Monk is looking to bolster his attacking frontline, as former target Kasey Palmer is now the latest man on the Blues boss’s list.

Blues were in the running to sign the Chelsea playmaker on loan in the January transfer window, but he opted for Derby instead.

The 21-year-old had a successful tenure at Huddersfield, helping them gain promotion. However, the youngster was unable to keep his starting place in a Gary Rowett Derby eleven.

According to the Daily Mirror, Monk is keen to bring Palmer to St Andrews, but he will face stiff competition as Newcastle, Sheffield United and Norwich are all eyeing the England U21 International.

  1. I think it’s best to wait and see, any proposed signings, actually photographed holding a Blues shirt at St. Andrews, before any comments are made. Talk is cheap, signing a player, ‘aint !!!!
