Fringe players score in derby

Viv Solomon-Otabor and Alex Jones were both on target today at Wast Hills in a development match against Coventry City.

Alex Jones volleyed Blues to victory in what was a thrilling last 10 minutes of the game. It ended 2-1 with youngster Solomon-Otabor opening the scoring.

It was Alex Jones’ first action after returning from New Zealand with a failed move to Wellington Pheonix. Thanks to a great ball from Mitch Hancox he was able to win the game for Blues. Koby Arthur was also in action after returning from injury, another fringe player trying to break into the first team.
