Diony move to Blues boosted even further with this news

8

Lois Diony’s parent club Dijon have made an announcement today, which will suit Blues very well.

This news comes after the club have made up their asking price for the forward, that being anything above €10million.

Also, today’s reports suggest Brighton (the only other English club linked with Diony) have made an enquiry for front man Izzy Brown.

However, as revealed on Thursday, Dijon president Olivier Delcourt assured the club “have received no firm offer” for the 24-year-old.

There’s no doubt Redknapp will welcome this announcement, whether or not he chooses to get the cheque book out is another matter…

What are your thoughts, should Redknapp now go all out to sign the Frenchman?

  1. It’s time Redknapp got his cheque book and started to sign some players whether it’s this lad or not.
Activity to date been very disappointing

    • disappointing my *** as Jim Royale would say. We have signed the best keeper in the Division last season and the most commanding centre back both capable of improving. There are 7 weeks left to the close of the window. We have signified strong intention for a decent right back (Dijks) centre forward (Hughill) and will no doubt look at the loan market (Gallagher). When Prem Teams have to chose 25 man squads will be rich picking from big 6 clubs. I would be surprised if we did not have 2-3 more by end of July and then 2-3 more in August and we have to move deadwood out; Cotterill; Fabbrini ; Brock- Madsen possibly Tesche and Donaldson too. STAY CALM !

  2. I am not disappointed: I think the two acquisitions thus far are very good pieces of business. Thank god we didn’t break the bank for Terry. My pal who follows the French leagues rates Diony highly. If we get him and 1 or 2 others I think we’ll be looking good. KRO

  3. Harry said was buying 5-6 players on top of 2 signings he’s bought, I just see that now all as for getting wingers and strikers and another CM/DM if we can; decent business so far though,…. 🙂 #KRO #SOTV

  4. There is no sense in bringing in new players , unless they fit into Redknapps plans and ideas. In the three games he had in charge at the end of last season, he improved the performances of the players , tremendously. So, with a pre-season under his belt, i’m sure him and his new backroom staff, will be getting the best out of the players he already has. He obviously wants to be sure, any players he brings in, will improve the squad.
