Birmingham City have this evening released a statement saying that all business has been wrapped up for this transfer window.
Although the club have been quiet, there have been various names floating around on social media as per with deadline day, but key figures at the club have moved to distinguish any potential plans to bring anymore more names in.
“Blues concluded their priority pieces of business before the closing of the January transfer window.
“Gary Rowett made it his intention to strengthen Blues’ attackign areas and also add some extra defensive cover.
“Diego Fabbrini was bought in as the club’s biggest signing in five years, representing a major coup whilst the deal that secured Ryan Shotton on-loan from Derby County concluded Rowett’s work in the market.
“James Vaughan’s loan was extended to the season’s end, when he will then sign a permanent contract and Will Buckley’s initial month loan was extended until the campaign’s close.
“Blues also had an eye on the future with the capture of the promising Luke Maxwell from Kidderminster Harriers, who was loaned back to the National League side.
“And don’t forget, Blues tied Viv Soloman-Otobar to a new contract.”
