Yonathan Domingos has been handed a trial match, today against Sheffield Wednesday for the U21 squad.
Blues have been looking abroad for talent in the last couple of months with former PSG player Manzinga also appearing for the development squad.
But now all eyes will be on Domingos this afternoon as Richard Beale aims to strengthen his team. Gary Rowett recently expressed that having a stronger development squad is key for Blues’ future as the emergency loan window will be banished as of next season.
The 19-year-old played 14 times for Waldhof Mannheim in Under 19 Bundesliga last season – and scored five goals. At 6ft 5ins, he can play up front or in midfield.
The full squad is: Legzdins, Trueman, Cogley, Halford, Bernard, Mbende, Harding, Cotton, Domingos, Brock-Madsen, Cooper, Brown, McFarlane, McDonald, Solomon-Otabor, Baba, Adams, Jones.
