News broke this morning Bristol City are lining up a move for Blues defender Ryan Shotton this Summer.
However, a move for Shotton will only be made if Aden Flintif leaves the club, according to the Bristol Post.
West Brom, Aston Villa and Derby County have been linked in the past few months, so a move looks likely.
Valued at £5million, Bristol could cash in on Flint and go for Shotton if the price is met.
Shotton joined from Derby last summer and still has another two years to run on his contract.
It could be that Redknapp is lining up a replacement for the 28-year-old just incase, as Barnsley captain Marc Roberts was linked yesterday.
This news also comes after Michael Morrison was rumoured to be eyed by former boss Gary Rowett at Derby, but that looks to be wide of the mark.
What are your thought’s, should we keep Shotton in our back four?
