Michael Appleton’s side were promoted from League Two via the automatic promotion places last season, and will prove a stern test for Gary Rowett’s men who may fancy their chances of an upset.

Oxford’s Twitter account described the game against Blues as a “dream tie”.

<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet” data-lang=”en”><p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”>BREAKING | The dream tie for our Chairman? <a href=””>#OUFC</a> will face <a href=””>@BCFC</a> at St Andrews in Round One of the <a href=””>#EFLCup</a> <a href=””>#COYY</a></p>&mdash; Oxford United FC (@OUFCOfficial) <a href=”″>June 22, 2016</a></blockquote>

What do you make of the draw Blues fans- are you happy and do you fancy our chances against lower league opposition?
