Blues captain Paul Robinson has been nominated for the monthly Championship player of the month award.
Former Baggies defender Robinson featured five times in October, scoring decisive goals against Bolton Wanderers in a 1-0 win and another in a 2-1 win away at QPR.
Robinson was only restored to the side at the beginning of the month to give the pairing of Morison and Spector a break, and the veteran has excelled. The 36-year-old brought much stability in the month Blues found themselves as high as second in the table.
Robinson is a cotender for the gong as well as Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan, Burnley striker Andre Gray and Brentford midfielder Alan Judge.
