Blues have rejected a second bid from Reading believed to be an offer of £800,000 potentially rising to £1.6million with add ons.

It appears Steve Clarke and Uwe Rosler have made the former Brentford hit-man a top target this summer as they both look to improve their attacking options.

After seeing their initial offer turned down the have stepped up the price but Blues have remained resolute and have snubbed the offer as Gary Rowett is determined to keep hold of last season’s top scorer.

Leeds also remain interested in Donaldson despite the new arrival of Chris Wood from Leicester, with other championship clubs assessing the 31-year-old’s position at the club.

What do you think, can Blues keep their top goal scorer?

  1. Unless blues are buying somebody like Jordan Rhodes forget it , we would only be making the opposition better with no guarantee that we could replace him with the money we have ,the players we need should be better than we have got rid of , otherwise its a waste of time ..
