Reports are suggesting that Blues are close to agreeing a deal for out of contract Ipswich midfielder Paul Anderson.
This news comes shortly after Demarai Gray being linked with a potential £7,000,000 deal with Bournemouth.
What do we know about Anderson? Well, one things seems pretty clear, many Ipswich fans have suggested their desire for the wide-man to stay at Portman Road, however boss Mick McCarthy hasn’t handed the 26 year old a new contract, allowing the player to move on to a new club.
Anderson has been praised for his consistent work ethic by the Ipswich faithful and is a player blessed with bursts of speed.
The Englishman has scored 7 goals in 68 games for the tractor boys after joining from Nottingham Forest in 2013.
Sports journalist Pete O’Rourke tweeted about Blues leading the chase for Anderson, which could give evidence that a deal may be close.
