Blues are short of a goal scoring winger this season, but a move for this St Mirren man could prove to be a promising one.

The highly rated wideman, Lewis Morgan has caught the eye of many English clubs this campaign, including Blues.

According to the Daily Record, Blues are understood to be keeping tabs on the Scottish starlet.

The 21-year-old has a remarkable eight goals to his name in just 13 games.

Morgan joined St Mirren in 2013 after coming up through the ranks at Rangers.

His impressive form has seen him feature for the Scottish U21’s and also earn his first International cap.


14 goals in 28 matches is stunning form for any winger and with his contract up at the end of the season Blues may want to move in quick for his signature.

He’s gathered interested from the likes of Swansea City, Celtic and Rangers. The youngster was also subject of a £200,000 bid from Burton Albion in the summer, which was turned down.

  1. Absolutely right however this lad is a two footed rare diamond. Don’t see many of his type around and not surprised he is linked with a number of clubs. I reckon paying a decent figure this season would be sensible as it will multiply quickly over the next couple of years based on what I have seen of him.
