Blues eyeing a move for Peterborough striker

Blues are reportedly lining up move for League One Peterborough striker Conor Washington.

Wolves are also interested in the versatile frontman according to a report in the Daily Mail.

Washington is very much the main man up-front this season, and has scored nine goals in his last 10 outings. One strong attribute is his pace which is causing defenders problems.

Both the Midlands clubs have struggled to find goal scoring form as of late. Blues are without lone striker Clayton Donaldson and play-maker David Cotterill. Wolves however are without Nouha Dicko (injured) and Bakary Sako’s who moved to Crystal Palace.

Albeit James Vaughan has come in on loan from Huddersfield Town, but where his future lies remains to be seen.

What do you think, would this be a good move from Rowett?
