Blues boss Gary Rowett has told the official website he is happy at where his squad stands and won’t be looking to add to it in the remainder of the emergency loan window.
Diego Fabbrini, winger Will Buckley, and defender Ryan Shotton all arrived during the transfer window last month and Rowett believes that his squad has enough fire power to compete with the big guns in the top half of the table:
“I am happy with what I have got at the moment. As a manager you always want to have more options and different types of players but I think we have made enough changes in the January window.
“Sometimes if you make too many changes you upset the balance of the team, you upset the camaraderie in the dressing room – which as we know is a big part of what we are about.
“We have got a group of players in there that are all ready to come and play when they are asked. They will all come and work for the team and will be unselfish when they need to be. I don’t think at this moment in time there is a necessity to change what we are doing.”
Rowett’s side having lost only one of their last nine Championship matches since Boxing Day, travel to QPR on Saturday, three points behind promotion chasing Sheffield Wednesday.
Blues fans what do you think, do Blues have what it takes to clinch a playoff spot with the current personnel?
