Aston Villa scout Paddy Reilly attended the Bolton game on Tuesday to watch two Blues loanees.
With Villa seemed to be doomed already, it looks like they are sending their scouts to second tier fixtures to prepare for what many people are predicting ‘another difficult’ season for them in the Championship. We are not ones to report news about B6, however many Blues fans were bemused on social media to find out they are scouting our very own players, but who you ask?

Two players that have been said to attract Reilly at Tuesday night’s game were Will Buckley and Jon Toral. Two players with their long term future hanging in the balance; Toral could well move on to another club or even stay at Blues for longer if Arsenal don’t see he is fit to re-join their ranks. As for Will Buckley, if his parent club Sunderland are relegated, he too could be moving on.
Toral would be the biggest loss to Rowett’s side if they are unable to keep him and Blues fans won’t like the idea of him moving across the city. The Spaniard has quickly become one of the most important players in the side – scoring 6 goals in 27 league games so far this season. It was another impressive performance for him considering he was only on the field for half an hour on Tuesday.
Blues fans, what do you think will Jon Toral stay for longer or will a club like Villa tempt him?
