    Blues defender Michael Morrison has hailed the retention of the club’s ‘two best players’ as a huge fillip.

    Birmingham City striker Clayton Donaldson has been cleared to begin his international career with Jamaica.

    The 31-year-old, who qualifies through his grandfather, had hoped to feature in Jamaica’s busy summer schedule.

    Gary Rowett not giving up on Fabbrini

    Gary Rowett has revealed he hasn’t given up on Diego Fabbrini and talks are still on-going.

    Burton Albion are expecting to welcome 3,000 away fans to their friendly fixture this weekend as the club gets set to play at the highest level in its history.

    A bumper crop of Birmingham City fans are getting set to head to the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday, but the club confirmed they are working ‘closer than ever’ with police to ensure a great atmosphere.

    Blues in talks with German star

    Blues are in talks with Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Peniel Mlapa.

    According to the German city Düsseldorf’s newspaper BILD the 24-year-old “is in talks with English second league side Birmingham City” and is subject to a £500,000 move.

    The day after we published this article he featured in the 2-2 draw with Northampton.

    Caddis signs one year extension

    Paul Caddis is the latest player to sign a new contract, following both Demarai Gray and Clayton Donaldson.

    The defender, whose original deal ran until next summer, has signed a one-year extension that will keep him at the club until at least June 2017.

    Barnsley bid for Blues goalkeeper

    Third choice goalkeeper Nick Townsend is set to leave Birmingham City.

    According to Often Partisan he is believed to be on his way to Barnsley after Blues are said to have accepted a bid for the 20-year-old.

    1. The ticket prices at Sheff Wed in particular are a disgrace … all fans need to do something these ticket prices part funding ridiculous transfer fees and wages most of the grounds in the FL need investment yet we pay the same price week in week out
